Ingredients:

130g self-raising flour
2 eggs
2 tsps vanilla extract
3 ripe bananas
200g sugar
180g unsalted butter
25g sugar
25g and 50g cinnamon powder

Procedure:

Preheat oven at 160 C

Mash bananas
Mix soft butter and sugar thoroughly
Continue mixing then add eggs
Add vanilla extract
Add mashed bananas
Add 50g cinnamon powder
Slowly add in self-raising flour
Continue mixing for 2-3 minutes

Mix 25g sugar and 25g cinnamon powder
Brush melted butter on baking pan and dust it with the sugar-cinnamon mixture
Pour in banana bread mixture and level it
Place in oven and bake it for 60 minutes

I have Spark/Telecom as my ISP and I've been having, to say at best, sporadic internet connection. I thought it was just my wifi connection or my phone but it was happening on all of the devices at home. So I did the usual troubleshooting step which is to reboot the router (power off for 30 seconds) - still the same problem. I checked the status connection on the routers WebGUI and I saw that it was a DNS server problem.

To check whether it was a DNS problem, I opened up my browser and checked www.google.com - Web Page Cannot be loaded. Then I tried 74.125.20.191 which is one of the IP addresses for the website google.com - I was able to access it. This was indeed a DNS problem.

As a DNS problem, there are 2 simple temporary (but can also be a permanent) solution.

It was a Saturday morning so she didn't have class and can have anything she wants for breakfast. Half of my consciousness still in dreamland, I said yes. I closed my eyes to give myself another 5 minutes then the horror set in: I didn't have a hotcake mix.

"What am I supposed to do? Maybe I should just tell her to eat cereal instead. But I don't want to disappoint her... Aw that look on her face when she's disappointed... I can't bear it..." My mind bombarded with these thoughts.

Quick as lightning, I jumped off from the bed and went straight to the kitchen. Thank my lucky stars I have flour. And not just any kind of flour; a self raising flour. I'm saved.
